Since graduating from Grant McEwan Community College with a Digital Arts and Media Diploma in early 1997, Craig has amassed over fourteen years’ industry experience in multimedia service and product development. Over the years, his responsibilities have included being developer, mentor, project lead, department manager, consultant and business owner. While his background encompasses all types of media, he is particularly accomplished at interactive media desktop, online and mobile. His expertise involves taking a product from concept, through prototype to deployment, all the while pushing the available development tools to their limits. He has in-depth experience working with Adobe’s products, especially Flash/Actionscript which has been one of his key development tools since the products inception.
Having worked with a wide base of clients, Craig has developed many corporate, educational and entertainment products. With the rapid evolution of technology, he embraces the opportunity to constantly learn and broaden his skill sets to meet the needs of the client and develop the best product possible. One of Craig’s key achievements was with Oz New Media Inc. in the late 90’s. Craig took limited tools available at the time to develop prototypes for what would end up being Oz’s main product line. Within two years at the company he moved into the Manager of Development position responsible for a staff of 12 and the production of the company’s products. Since then he’s gathered experience from his time working for NAIT, Vintacom Media Group, Mosaic Communications and MCM Studios Inc. which he co-founded and operated. Under the MCM Studios flag, Craig has produced Websites, CDs, DVDs, and interactive web applications for a variety of clients including Bobsleigh Canada, Meyers Norris Penny, Adfarm, SMART Technologies, and an array of ad agencies and design firms.
For the last few years, Craig has been employed by Parcom Marketing as their Multimedia Specialist and freelancing for a variety of clients focusing mainly in Flash development and interactive media.
